Job summary

UTOPIA, a Doha-based venture platform, seeks a seasoned Chief Operating Officer to lead finance, compliance, operations and people across a multi-entity platform. The role reports to the CEO and is critical to scaling sovereign-grade capital with venture-speed.

You will partner with the CEO to run the Studio and Fund Manager as one team, driving strategy, regulatory readiness and group KPIs across regions.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years in senior finance and operating leadership roles (CFO/COO or Head of Finance & Operations) in regulated investment firms.
• Experience operating funds, venture studios or accelerators, with familiarity with fund admin, LP reports and board packs.
• Knowledge of fund economics (NAV, carry, fees) and working with regulators (e.g., QFCRA/DFSA).
• Proven ability to build HR and operations in lean, multi-entity organisations.

Education

Finance qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or CFA)
