Job summary

ISS International Spa in Doha, Qatar invites a Piping and Layout Engineer with offshore experience to join for a 6-month assignment with possible extension. The role focuses on supporting bidding, developing plots, and ensuring accurate man-hour and cost estimates, while aligning with project requirements.

You will review technical documents, estimate quantities, and check design outputs, maintaining progress and communicating risks to the Piping and Layout leader.

Responsibilities

• Support bidding phase and commercial proposal development including bill of materials, plot plan layout, and man-hour/cost estimates
• Provide piping and layout engineering support to projects and analyze technical documents to assess scope and risks
• Estimate quantities or validate estimations, check internal/subcontracted documents and write piping/layout design premises
• Monitor progress, including 3D discipline activities, and report risk to the Project Piping and Layout leader; liaise with procurement, subcontracting and construction

ISS International Spa is looking for a Piping and Layout Engineer with offshore experience in Doha, Qatar.

Responsibilities:

• Support Bidding phase / Commercial proposal development on: Bill of material, Plot plan lay out proposal and define man hour and cost estimate Ensure the Piping and Layout engineering support to different projects Analyze technical documents (eg specifications, calculation notes, drawings) to assess the scope of the studies required and the potential risks Estimate quantities or validate estimation done by other specialists of the team Check all produced documents (internal or subcontracted) like design reports, technical specifications, drawings under responsibility Write the Piping and Layout methodologies / Design Premises comprehensive of all necessary data, general and specific design guidelines Monitor and report actual progress including 3D / check for Discipline activities, including control of men-hours and delivered documents Provide technical support to Procurement, Subcontracting and Construction activities included in the scope of work Inform on a permanent basis the Project Piping and Layout leader of any foreseen technical or financial or delay risk
