Job summary

Flyper is seeking a highly skilled Petroleum Engineer for an on-site role in Ar-Ruwais, Qatar. You will design, plan, and implement processes to extract oil and gas from reservoirs, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize production while ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering with at least 5 years of oil and gas experience, fluent English, and a biometric passport or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in oil and gas industry.
• Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.
• Biometric passport required or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Designing, planning, and implementing processes to extract oil and gas from reservoirs.
• Designing drilling plans and techniques for optimal extraction.
• Monitoring well performance and implementing adjustments.
• Collaborating with geologists, geophysicists, and other engineers on comprehensive plans.
• Utilizing advanced technologies such as 3D modeling to improve efficiency and production.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
