Job summary

JobLeader in Ar-Ruwais, Qatar, is seeking a Petroleum Engineer to analyze and design methods for extracting oil and gas from below the earth’s surface, using drilling techniques and reservoir engineering to maximize production. You will work with geologists and engineers, conduct site research, design plans, monitor data, and help reduce costs.

A bachelor's degree and 5+ years in oil and gas are required; English fluency preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong understanding of drilling techniques, reservoir engineering, and production optimization.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Proficient in CMG, Petrel, or Eclipse.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluency in English is preferred.
