Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Familiarity with Petrel or Eclipse for reservoir modeling.
• Ability to analyze data and make recommendations based on findings.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Willingness to work in a remote location with limited amenities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis to identify potential drilling sites.
• Create drilling plans and monitor their execution.
• Analyze data on well performance to make recommendations for improvements.
• Develop models to predict oil and gas reserves in a given area.
• Design methods for extracting oil and gas from reservoirs, including hydraulic fracturing techniques.
• Monitor drilling operations, including pressure, flow rates, temperature, etc.
• Collaborate with geoscientists to understand the geological characteristics of potential drilling sites.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Provide technical support to other teams as needed.
