Job summary

The Computer Service Technician at V2X applies understanding of information systems hardware and software to resolve first-level problems in a service center setting. You will diagnose, communicate solutions clearly, perform inspections, and assist with inventories and follow-up support.

Responsibilities include maintaining ADPE equipment, evaluating malfunctions, conducting baseline procedures, and collaborating with the Systems Support Specialist to confirm serviceability of workstations,

Qualifications

• Three years related experience may be substituted for one year of education.
• College degree or equivalent experience.
• Comp TIA A+ or equivalent Certification is a plus.
• Experience: 3+ years of related experience.
• Capable of effectively communicating technical information in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical maintenance and service for all ADPE equipment.
• Evaluate equipment for malfunctions and deficiencies.
• Performs baseline procedures, and hardware replacement.
• Work closely with the Systems Support Specialist to determine serviceability of workstations, monitors, printers, servers, and other computer peripherals.
• Is responsible for all final technical inspections and ensures the appropriate status entry is made in the work order tracking system.
• Perform monthly UBL inventories and assist with cyclical property inventories.
• Performs other duties and assignments as required.
