Job summary

Vistas Global in Doha seeks an experienced Oracle DBA to manage Oracle databases and ERP-related tools. You will monitor performance, tune queries, apply upgrades, and ensure high availability and security across Linux/Unix systems.

Requires a degree in Computer Science or related field and 6+ years’ Oracle DBA experience, with hands-on work in RAC, Dataguard, RMAN, Exadata, and Engineered systems; you’ll provide 24x7 support for production environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or technical field.
• 6+ years of experience as Oracle DBA or similar role.
• Experience in Oracle RAC, Dataguard, RMAN, Exadata, OGG and Engineered systems.
• Experience in Linux/Unix Operating system.
• Database performance tuning and migration techniques.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

The position holder will be responsible for Administration, Performance tuning, Capacity planning, management for all DB systems that include Oracle e-Business Suite (ERP), Oracle Golden Gate and all other IT database systems.

Duties and responsibilities

• Install and Upgrade Oracle database and Corresponding Application Tools.
