Job description

Optometrist vacancy in Doha Qatar

We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate must have a proven track record of providing excellent eye care services and be familiar with the latest techniques and technologies related to optometry.

The Optometrist will be responsible for performing comprehensive eye exams, prescribing corrective lenses, diagnosing and treating eye diseases, and educating patients on vision care. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The Optometrist is expected to perform a range of duties including conducting preliminary tests such as auto refraction, retinoscopy, visual acuity tests, color vision tests and depth perception tests. They will also use specialized diagnostic equipment such as ophthalmoscopes and retinoscopes to diagnose eye diseases. Additionally, they will dispense eyeglasses or contact lenses after determining appropriate prescriptions.

The salary of this position is set at 1500 QAR per month. We are open to considering foreign applicants who meet the qualifications of this position.
