Job summary

Flyper is seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our Doha clinic. The role focuses on comprehensive eye care, including vision assessment, diagnosing eye diseases, prescribing corrective lenses and performing minor procedures.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor of Science in Optometry, a valid Qatar Council of Health Practitioners certificate, and at least 5 years of optometry experience. You will work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Job description

Optometrist job vacancy in Doha Qatar

We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services, including assessing eyesight, diagnosing eye diseases and disorders, prescribing corrective lenses and performing minor surgeries.

This role offers a salary of 1600 QAR/month and presents an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse patient base at our practice. We are open to considering foreign candidates for this position.

The successful candidate must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Optometry or equivalent, plus valid certification from the Qatar Council of Health Practitioners. Additionally, they should have at least 5 years’ experience in an optometry setting and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Good communication skills, problem solving abilities, attention to detail and strong decision-making skills are all essential for this role.
