Job summary

Woopel in Doha is seeking an experienced Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages, including exams, diagnosis, and treatment of vision problems, and prescribing eyewear.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Optometry, is licensed to practice in Doha, and has at least 3 years of relevant experience. Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred.

This is a full-time onsite role with a monthly salary of 1,000 QAR and a commitment to high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or related field.
• Licensed to practice optometry in Doha.
• At least 3 years’ experience working as an Optometrist.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Fluency in English & Arabic (preferred).

Responsibilities

He/she will diagnose and treat vision problems, such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and glaucoma, and prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses. The Optometrist will also perform comprehensive eye exams on patients and provide preventative advice about eye health.
