Job summary

AimGulf is seeking a skilled refinery/chemical plant operator to manage and optimize complex processes within a high-temperature, high-pressure environment. You will oversee shifts, monitor equipment, and enforce safety and procedural standards across multiple units.

The role requires 8+ years of operations experience, strong leadership, and fluency in English, with responsibilities including team supervision and continuous improvement of plant performance.

Qualifications

• 3 years technical training – HNC Level or equivalent.
• 8 years operations experience in multiple units of Refinery/Chemical Plant.
• Rotating shifts and extended hours required.

Job description

The job demands more alertness, quick thinking and decision making often dealing with the processes involving hot, high temperature hydrocarbon at elevated pressure. Wrong decisions can have an impact on plant integrity and production loss.

The incumbent is required to work in rotating shifts; required to work extended hours as per work requirement.

Experience Required:

• 3 Years technical training – HNC Level or equivalent.

• Good oral and reading knowledge of English.
• Solid knowledge of DCS / Panel Operations.

• Good knowledge of Operational Procedures.
• High level of alertness, anticipation and analysis.
