Job summary

QatarEnergy is seeking a seasoned operations professional to assist the Shift Supervisor in both routine and non-routine activities within its refinery and chemical plant complex.

You will contribute to maintaining vital facilities, ensuring safe startup/shutdown operations, and adapting to rotating shifts with extended hours as required.

Qualifications

• 2 years technical training - CNAQ Diploma or equivalent.
• 7 years of operations experience in multiple units of Refinery/Chemical Plant.
• Must achieve minimum Level 4 English competence.
• Team Leadership/Surveillance/Analysis & Vigilance skills and control.
• Good knowledge of Operational Procedures.
• Full working knowledge of relevant units and protection system.
• Undergone HSE related trainings.

Responsibilities

• Assist Shift Supervisor for normal and non-routine operations.
• Maintain operation of vital facilities.
• Ensure correct operation during shutdown or startup to avoid serious consequences.
• Work rotating shifts and extended hours as required by the work.

The incumbent is accountable to assist Shift Supervisor for normal routine and non-routine operations Directly contributes in maintaining operation of vital facilities Incorrect operation during shutdown or startup could result in serious consequences The incumbent is required to work in rotating shifts required to work extended hours as per work requirement.
