Job summary

PwC Qatar is seeking a Finance Operations Specialist for a 3-month, full-time on-site assignment in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have hands-on accounting experience across general ledger, reconciliations, journal entries, AP/AR, financial reporting and month-end closing.

Key requirements include 5-7+ years of experience, IFRS knowledge, strong Excel and ERP experience, and the ability to start immediately in Qatar for the 3-month engagement.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of accounting experience.
• General ledger accounting.
• Journal entries, accruals and prepayments.
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Bank, supplier and balance-sheet reconciliations.
• Month-end and year-end closing.
• Financial reporting and supporting schedules.
• Audit support and documentation.
• Good working knowledge of IFRS.
• Strong Excel and ERP experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger accounting and month-end close activities.
• Manage journal entries, accruals and prepayments.
• Oversee AP/AR processes and vendor reconciliations.
• Conduct bank, supplier and balance-sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reporting packages and schedules.
• Support internal and external audits and documentation.
