Job summary

MENA Consultant in Doha, Qatar is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician – Diesel Generators to support the maintenance and troubleshooting of diesel generator systems on-site.

The role requires hands-on experience with major brands (Cummins, Caterpillar, SDMO and Perkins) and the ability to read electrical drawings, work with controllers, wiring, and generator control panels to keep systems reliable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in diesel generator maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Cummins, Caterpillar, SDMO, Perkins brands.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• ITI or Diploma in Electrical required.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of diesel generator systems.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults affecting generator operation.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot alternators, ATS/AMF panels, controllers, battery chargers, and wiring.
• Read electrical drawings and interpret wiring diagrams during maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
