Job summary

IRM Energy & Technology Qatar is seeking a seasoned quality professional to implement and manage the project quality management program on site in Qatar. The role requires coordinating fabrication teams, inspectors, and contractors to ensure compliance with quality requirements.

The candidate will monitor performance, close non-conformances, and drive continuous quality improvements while supporting safety programs and site engineering. A strong background in Oil & Gas quality is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
• Additional qualifications in quality, welding, and NDE inspection.
• Minimum 8 years of Oil & Gas quality experience, including 2 years in supervisory or oversight roles.
• Experience with Oil & Gas operators, contractors, or service companies.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with fabrication teams and inspectors to identify, resolve, and close quality issues.
• Implement the quality management system and verify contractor compliance.
• Monitor contractor, subcontractor, and vendor quality performance and report findings.
• Manage non-conformances, technical deviations, and corrective actions.
• Capture lessons learned and recommend process improvements.
• Participate in site safety walks and safety observation programs.
• Maintain close coordination with quality management and site engineering teams.
• Identify quality and progress concerns and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform other quality-related duties as assigned.
