Job summary

IRM Energy & Technology in Qatar is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the quality program across fabrication, installation, and execution activities. You will oversee offshore QA/QC teams, manage deficiencies, and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.

The role requires 8 years Oil & Gas QA experience, including supervision, and strong knowledge of quality management systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
• Additional qualifications in quality, welding, and NDE inspection.
• 8 years of Oil & Gas quality experience, including 1 year in a supervisory or oversight role.
• Experience with Oil & Gas operators, contractors, or service companies.
• Experience in large-scale operational and project environments.
• Knowledge of quality management systems, specifications, tools, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fabrication quality surveillance to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Manage deficiencies and NCRs, ensuring timely investigation and closure.
• Monitor and report quality performance, issues, risks, and trends.
• Participate in quality audits to verify compliance with approved plans and procedures.
• Lead offshore installation QA/QC teams, including welding, NDT, and coating inspectors.
• Coordinate with fabrication teams and inspectors to resolve quality issues.
• Implement the Quality Management System and verify EPC contractor compliance.
• Capture lessons learned and drive timely closure of quality actions.
• Participate in safety walks and safety observation programs.
