Job summary

EMP GoWIN Global is seeking a QA/QC Manager – Oil & Gas (EPCC) in Qatar with 15+ years of experience to lead quality across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning. You will ensure compliance with client needs, contract terms and quality standards on major projects.

The role requires strong leadership to guide teams, manage risks, perform audits, review procedures and drive continual improvement, delivering work to the highest standards while coordinating with contractors,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is mandatory.
• 15+ years of relevant Oil & Gas, petrochemical expansion or EPCC project experience.
• At least 5 years in a QA/QC leadership role with direct team management.
• Deep knowledge of ISO 9001, ITPs, audits, NCRs, deviations and corrective actions.
• Experience in project risk management with Risk Registers and risk focal point.
• Understanding of client Integrated Management Systems (Quality, HSE, Environment, Energy, Responsible Care).
• Experience with EPCC contracts, PIM requirements and project quality gates.
• Hands-on experience in inspection planning, vendor surveillance and fabrication QC.
• Candidates must be in Qatar with a valid QID; available for immediate or short-notice joining.

Responsibilities

• Lead the QA/QC function across all EPCC project stages and set quality plans.
• Check engineering documents, vendor work, site construction and commissioning against standards.
• Plan and lead quality audits and track findings for timely closure.
• Review procedures to ensure compliance with contract terms and client standards.
• Maintain and update the project Risk Register monthly and monitor quality risks.
• Oversee inspections, ITPs, inspection requests and NCRs; drive timely action.
• Set quality needs for materials and coordinate vendor inspections.
• Manage non-conformities and corrective actions to closure.
• Lead mechanical completion activities including punch lists and equipment protection.
• Support monthly progress reports and lessons learned; enable project closeout.
