Job summary

Fusion Integrated Solutions (FIS) is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, operate, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and connectivity infrastructure. You will ensure reliable connectivity and handle day-to-day network administration, incidents, and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in enterprise network operations, support, or administration.
• CCNA, CCNP, Cisco Enterprise, Aruba ACMA/ACMP, or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise switches, routers, wireless controllers, APs, WAN, SD-WAN, and internet services.
• Configure VLANs, routing protocols, QoS, NAT, DHCP relay, DNS forwarding, IP addressing, and site-to-site connectivity.
• Monitor network performance, utilisation, availability, and capacity; investigate incidents within SLAs.
• Implement network segmentation and remote-access configurations in coordination with the security team.
• Perform planned maintenance, firmware upgrades, backups, and lifecycle replacement activities.
• Maintain topology diagrams, IP address-management records, configuration standards, and change documentation.
• Support network implementation and expansion projects with proper handover.
• Coordinate with telecoms providers, vendors, and managed-service partners to issue resolution.

About the Role

The Network Engineer designs, implements, operates, and maintains the enterprise LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and network-connectivity infrastructure serving Fusion Integrated Solutions (FIS). The role focuses on reliable connectivity, day-to-day network administration, incident resolution, capacity improvement, and project delivery across routing, switching, wireless, and network-access services.

As a hands-on member of the Technical Delivery team, the successful candidate will work with infrastructure teams, telecoms providers, network vendors, and managed-service partners to maintain service availability and deliver scalable, well-documented network solutions. The role implements approved network-access and segmentation configurations in coordination with the security team; ownership of cybersecurity platforms and security operations sits with the Security Engineer role.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise switches, routers, wireless controllers, access points, WAN, SD-WAN, and internet-connectivity services.
• Configure and support VLANs, routing protocols, QoS, NAT, DHCP relay, DNS forwarding, IP addressing, and site-to-site connectivity.
• Monitor network performance, utilisation, availability, and capacity; proactively investigate and resolve incidents and outages within agreed service levels.
• Implement approved network segmentation, wired and wireless access configurations, and remote-access connectivity in coordination with the security team.

• Maintain accurate topology diagrams, IP address-management records, configuration standards, and change documentation.

Candidate Attributes

• Strong hands-on Layer 2 and Layer 3 troubleshooting across routing, switching, wireless, and connectivity services
• A methodical approach to diagnosis, escalation, root-cause analysis, and documentation.
• Ownership of service availability and the ability to work calmly during connectivity incidents.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders and effective vendor coordination.
• A proactive approach to service improvement and ongoing technical development.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• 4+ years of experience in enterprise network operations, support, implementation, or administration.
• CCNA, CCNP, Cisco Enterprise, Aruba ACMA/ACMP, or equivalent certifications are preferred.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic is desirable.
