Job summary

International Organization for Migration in Doha, Qatar, invites applications for a MHPSS Counsellor to organize problem- and emotion-based psychoeducation, group sessions, and individual counselling under CAS supervision.

You will help coordinate mental health interventions with specialists, support caregivers, and report outcomes in the data system while contributing to capacity-building and monitoring efforts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in mental health counselling and psychosocial support.
• Experience working with at-risk community members.
• Experience liaising with governmental/diplomatic authorities and international organizations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing MHPSS individual and group sessions.
• Coordinate interventions with mental health professionals and referrals when needed.
• Support caregivers to organize family-based supports.
• Contribute to recovery plans for individuals and groups.
• Organize information platforms and advocacy on MHPSS.
• Document services in Smart Camp SYNC and produce visibility materials.
• Assist capacity-building activities for staff and volunteers.
• Support monitoring and evaluation of the programme.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
