Job summary

Want More in Doha, Qatar seeks a Merchandiser to manage merchandising and inventory across all stores in the region. The role requires organization, attention to detail, and strong communication.

Candidates with a Bachelor’s in retail/merchandising and 2+ years in a similar role are preferred. The successful candidate will handle product placement, promotional design, vendor coordination, stock tagging, pricing, and shelf display while maintaining accurate inventory records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in retail or merchandising.
• At least two years of experience as Merchandiser or similar role.
• Knowledge of retail principles, methods, practices, trends and technology.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing sales data and trends to determine product placement in stores.
• Designing and executing promotional strategies to boost sales.
• Coordinating with vendors to ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
• Developing relationships with store managers and staff.
• Ensuring all merchandise is properly tagged, priced, displayed and stocked.
• Keeping up-to-date records of inventory levels and ordering stock as needed.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations while handling merchandise.
