Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a merchandiser or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of retail industry trends and market dynamics in Qatar.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to analyze data accurately, draw conclusions quickly, and make recommendations accordingly.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage product inventory to ensure adequate supplies of products in store shelves
• Develop promotional campaigns and materials to increase sales
• Work with suppliers and stores to ensure availability of products at all locations
• Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and improve product selection
• Monitor competitive activity and adjust strategies accordingly
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as suppliers, buyers, store managers etc.
• Develop pricing strategies based on market trends and consumer feedback
• Prepare reports on sales performance, profitability, stock levels etc.
