Elegancia Facilities Management in Ras Laffan, Qatar, seeks a qualified Mechanical Engineer to oversee FM operations, maintain and optimize mechanical assets, and ensure safety and client requirements across commercial and mixed-use facilities.

The role requires 7-10 years in FM, strong MEP knowledge, and supervision of technical teams. UAE/Qatar experience is preferred. Ras Laffan site-based role with a focus on reliability and efficiency.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7-10 years of FM experience.
• Experience in building maintenance and MEP systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting and pumps.
• Experience managing maintenance teams and contractors.
• MS Office and CAFM proficiency.
• Strong communication and problem solving.
• UPDA/MMUP certification mandatory.
• GCC/Qatar experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of mechanical systems.
• Manage operation and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, pumps and water systems.
• Ensure assets meet performance standards and safety regulations.
• Conduct inspections, fault diagnosis, and root cause analysis.

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our Facilities Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of mechanical systems across commercial, residential, and mixed-use facilities while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities for all mechanical systems.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, pumps, water systems, and other building services.
• Ensure all mechanical assets operate efficiently and meet performance standards.
• Conduct inspections, fault diagnosis, root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Review technical drawings, method statements, and engineering specifications.
• Supervise maintenance teams, subcontractors, and service providers.
• Monitor KPI performance and ensure SLA compliance.
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance plans, and asset condition assessments.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders regarding FM operations.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7-10 years of experience in Facilities Management (FM).
• Strong experience in building maintenance and MEP systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, chilled water systems, and pumps.
• Experience in managing maintenance teams and contractors.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CAFM systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• UPDA/MMUP certification mandatory.
• GCC/Qatar experience is highly preferred.
