Job summary

QatarEnergy LNG is seeking a professional to assist in planning and administering contract development tendering and material agreement processes. The role focuses on maintaining KPI objectives and ensuring compliance with procurement controls to meet end-user material availability requirements.

Responsibilities include supporting ITT evaluations, contract award processes, and coordination with vendors to ensure timely delivery while maintaining governance and risk controls.

Qualifications

• 5 years direct experience in oil and gas with purchasing and procurement.
• Experience with contract development, tendering, and procurement processes.
• Familiarity with Invitations to Tender (ITT) evaluations and contract award procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning contract development tendering execution and administration of material agreements to ensure operational requirements are met.
• Support KPI tracking and alignment with department objectives to drive performance.
• Assist procurement processes from ITT through contract award to sustain corporate controls and mitigate risk.
• Support material agreement tendering and contract compliance to ensure availability and adherence to terms.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to track and meet material demand and on-time delivery.
• Support audits and peer reviews to identify gaps and improve controls.

Job Purpose

Assist in the planning of contract development tendering execution and administration of material agreements as well as maintaining and tracking of objectives and Key Performance Indicators KPIs to ensure operational requirements and objective are met

Key Job Accountabilities - I

• Assist in the preparation of section division annual objectives Key Performance Indicators KPIs with associated metrics to achieve department and corporate strategic objectives
• Assist team in the procurement agreement buying process including Invitations to Tenders ITT evaluations and subsequent contract award to ensure corporate controls are sustained and risk exposure is mitigated
• Assist the material agreement tendering process and subsequent contract compliance to ensure best in class service offering is provided to meet end user material availability requirements
• Help prepare documents required to support contract administration of relevant agreement s to ensure supplier material delivery meet material availability metrics and to ensure all associated contract terms and conditions and contract scope comply with Qatar Energy LNG interests
• Assist internal alignment with expediting and external alignment with material vendors packers and freight forwarders to track facilitate and achieve a sustained on time material availability performance to meet end user material demand requirements
• Provide support in analysing the effectiveness of division processes to identify areas of business Improvements opportunities to enhance service offerings to end users and stakeholders
• Support in providing required documents for peer reviews internal and external audits and other applicable areas associated with Material Agreements to ensure the controls are maintained and identified gaps are corrected

Completion of Secondary School Education 12 years

Knowledge and or Experience - I

5 years direct experience oil and gas industry with purchasing procurement experience
