Job summary

Accor is seeking a skilled Mason to join our hotel maintenance team in Qatar. The role focuses on masonry work, plastering, tile fixing and preventive upkeep of guest rooms and public areas to ensure high standards of safety and quality.

You will repair cracks, manage finishing works and participate in routine inspections, working with a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Mason, preferably in a hotel, commercial building or facility management.
• Strong knowledge of masonry techniques, tile installation, plastering, concrete repairs and finishing works.
• Good teamwork and communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Carry out masonry works including plastering, block work, tile fixing, grouting, concrete repairs and finishing works.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of walls, floors, ceilings, walkways and other building structures.
• Repair cracks, damaged tiles, marble, cement finishes and other civil-related defects throughout the hotel.
• Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house facilities to identify maintenance requirements.
• Ensure all masonry work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a safe and clean condition.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair works.
