Job summary

QuantumIT Solutions in Lusail, Qatar, is seeking a Mason to lay out foundations and build with bricks, stones and blocks. The role requires reading blueprints and working with mortar, at heights as needed.

The position offers a competitive salary of 1300$ per month, company-provided accommodation and medical insurance. English is required; Arabic is a plus. Open to all nationalities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Mason.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.
• Familiarity with bricks, stones, concrete blocks and other masonry materials.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and work at heights.
• Good communication in English; Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lay out patterns or foundations according to blueprints or plans.
• Mix cement, sand and water to produce mortar or grout.
• Spread mortar over brick or stone surfaces using trowels.
• Align bricks or stones and remove excess mortar.
• Cut and shape bricks to fit irregular spaces.
• Repair cracks or broken bricks in existing structures.
• Clean and polish surfaces using hand or power tools.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed at all times.

Salary 1300$ per month

Key Responsibilities

• Lay out patterns or foundations according to blueprints or plans
• Mix cement sand and water to produce mortar or grout
• Spread mortar over brick or stone surfaces using trowels or other tools
• Align brick or stones and remove excess mortar using hand tools
• Cut and shape bricks to fit irregular spaces using hammers chisels or masonry saws
• Repair cracks or broken bricks in existing structures
• Clean and polish surfaces using hand or power tools
• Ensure that all safety regulations are followed at all times

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Mason
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans
• Familiarity with different types of masonry materials including bricks stones concrete blocks etc
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and work at heights if required
• Good communication skills in English Arabic is a plus
• Own visa is preferred but not mandatory
