Job summary

Flyper is seeking an experienced Mason to join a construction project in Lusail, Qatar. You will build and repair structures using bricks, blocks, and natural stones, following blueprints and specifications on site.

The role requires at least 2 years of mason experience, strong material knowledge, and the ability to read plans. You will work with a team, communicate clearly, and adhere to safety rules on site. A full-time schedule with 8 hours daily is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mason in construction.
• Extensive knowledge of building materials and their properties.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Indian nationality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measure and mark building materials according to blueprints or specifications.
• Cut bricks or stones using hand tools or power tools.
• Lay bricks or stones in a specific pattern, ensuring they are level and aligned correctly.
• Use mortar or other adhesives to secure bricks or stones together.
• Repair existing structures by replacing damaged bricks or stones.
• Clean excess mortar from finished surfaces using various tools such as trowels or scrapers.
• Communicate effectively with other team members and follow instructions from supervisors.
• Adhere to all safety regulations on the construction site.

Your main duties will include measuring and cutting materials, laying and aligning bricks or stones according to blueprints or specifications, and applying mortar or other adhesives to bind materials together.
