Job summary

Mason Position in Doha

We are seeking an experienced Mason to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all aspects of masonry work and must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Job Responsibilities

• Lay brick, block, stone, tile, and other masonry materials
• Mix and apply mortar to brick, stone, tile and other masonry materials
• Provide estimates for jobs based on the size of the project
• Measure and cut materials for installation using tools such as saws and grinders
• Follow blueprints or sketches that provide instructions on what needs to be constructed
• Install supports or reinforcements as needed according to design specifications
• Repair existing masonry structures
• Monitor quality of own work and the work of others on the job site
• Follow safety protocols at all times while working onsite.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in a similar role
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required; formal apprenticeship preferred
• Highly skilled with tools such as saws, grinders, drills etc.
• Ability to read blueprints or sketches accurately and follow instructions closely
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects on a regular basis
• Immigrant status is welcome.

Salary: 1300 QR per month.
