Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering in Doha, Qatar, seeks an experienced QC supervisor for marine fabrication projects. You will lead inspection activities, ensure compliance with ITPs, drawings, and specifications, and coordinate with client and third-party inspectors.

The role requires 7–10 years in marine QC, with vessels, barges, shipyards or ports experience, and a CSWIP 3.1 / AWS-CWI or API preferred. Strong leadership and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of QC experience in marine projects.
• Supervisory experience on vessels, barges, shipyards, ports.
• Strong knowledge of welding, structural fabrication, piping inspection, NDT.
• Familiar with ITP, WPS/PQR, NCR and quality documentation.
• CSWIP 3.1 / AWS-CWI / API or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise QC inspections for marine fabrication, welding, structural and piping works.
• Ensure work meets ITPs, drawings, specs, WPS/PQR, and project quality requirements.
• Monitor welding, fabrication, fit-up, NDT, dimensional checks and final inspections.
• Review inspection reports, NCRs, punch lists, test records, and quality docs.
• Coordinate with client and third-party inspectors, supervisors, and project teams.
• Ensure non-conformities are corrected and closed within deadlines.
