Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering seeks an experienced Offshore QA/QC Inspector to oversee inspection, testing, and commissioning activities on offshore projects. You will verify conformity with drawings, procedures, ITPs, and project specs, and witness NDT, pressure tests, and hydrotesting.

Coordination with clients and subcontractors is essential. The role demands offshore QA/QC experience, relevant certifications, and ability to prepare quality documentation and turnover dossiers.

Qualifications

• Offshore QA/QC inspection experience in oil & gas or marine projects.
• Knowledge of ITPs, drawings, procedures, and project specs.
• Experience with commissioning, pressure tests, and hydrotests.
• Certification in welding inspection and coating inspection required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect offshore construction, hook-up, maintenance, and commissioning.
• Verify compliance with drawings, ITPs, and project specs.
• Prepare inspection reports and turnover dossiers.
• Coordinate with client reps, teams, and subcontractors.
• Witness NDT, pressure testing, hydrotesting, and loop checks.

Madre Integrated Engineering | Full time

• Perform inspection and surveillance of offshore construction, hook-up, maintenance, and commissioning activities.
  
• Inspect structural steel, piping systems, pressure vessels, equipment installation, electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems.
  
• Verify compliance with approved drawings, procedures, method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and project specifications.
  
• Conduct material receiving, preservation, installation, and final inspections.
  
• Witness NDT activities, pressure testing, hydrotesting, flushing, loop checking, function testing, and commissioning activities.
  
• Monitor welding and fabrication activities to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  
• Raise, track, and close Punch List items and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  
• Ensure offshore construction activities comply with client specifications, company procedures, and industry standards.
  
• Prepare daily inspection reports, quality documentation, and turnover dossiers.
  
• Coordinate with client representatives, construction teams, subcontractors, and commissioning personnel.
  

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Instrumentation Engineering, or related discipline.
  
• Minimum 7-10 years of offshore QA/QC inspection experience within Oil & Gas, FPSO, offshore platforms, or marine construction projects.
  
• Previous experience in offshore installation, hook-up, brownfield modifications, or EPC projects.
  
• Offshore certification and medical fitness certification required.
