Qatar Airways Group is seeking a Manager Finance Transformation to lead the transformation of multiple finance processes through innovative tech solutions. You will act as SME and key leadership team member to redefine complex change initiatives, achieving operational excellence and strategic alignment with group goals.

The role covers strategy, design, implementation, and post-go-live ownership of finance systems and processes across Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Sales to Cash, FP&A,

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with minimum 8 years of job-related experience.
• 8+ years of experience in business transformation and ERP implementation (Oracle/SAP).
• 4+ years of experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in managing operational finance: Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Sales to Cash, Direct Operating Costs, FP&A, Treasury, Governance Risk and Compliance, Tax etc.

• Shape and execute the finance transformation strategy with cross-functional teams.
• Lead and contribute to integration of acquired businesses into the Group's financial systems and infrastructure.
• Scope, design, build, implement, test and manage all phases of finance transformation projects and budgets.
• Define the Finance Target Operating Model with senior leaders and deliver the transformation agenda.
• Lead change management, ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement within finance streams.
• Own post-transformation finance system solutions, processes and applications.

As the Manager Finance Transformation, you are responsible to lead and manage transformation of 2-3 finance processes (such as Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Sales to Cash, Direct Operating Costs, FP&A, Treasury, Governance Risk and Compliance, Tax etc.) through innovative technology solutions by designing and implementing new ways of working. You will act as subject matter expert and key member of the leadership team in redefining and transforming complex change initiatives the finance function to achieve operational excellence, efficiency and strategic alignment with organisational goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic

• Play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our finance transformation strategy, collaborate with cross functional teams to streamline financial processes, implement cutting-edge technologies, and drive improvements in financial reporting and analysis.
• Lead, optimize and successfully contribute to the delivery of future integration of businesses acquired into of the Group's financial systems & infrastructure across multiple or high complexity Finance streams.
• Responsible with scoping, design, building, implementation, testing and management of all phases Finance transformation project including the allocation of resources and management of project budget.
• Help define the Finance Target Operating Model together with the Head of Finance Transformation and Project Director and contribute to delivering the Finance Transformation Agenda.
• Lead change management efforts ensuring effective communication, stakeholder engagement, new ways of working within finance streams and across the organisation.
• Own all post-transformation Finance system solutions, processes, and applications.

Operational

• Manage transition activities including planning training and knowledge transfer activities, business cut-over strategy and activities, facilitating business readiness criteria and providing post Go-Live support.
• Partner with the Group Digital workstream to ensure Finance needs are understood and delivered.
• Mitigating risks and exposures in the current system team and application support.
• Document and validate current processes/process flow charts and identify opportunities for automation, standardization and process streamlining across the back-office organization.
• Own the business process designs for the assigned Finance streams with strict adherence to the key design principles, contribute to the ERP in project planning, risks identification and mitigation.
• Serve as process expert in the assigned Finance processes, understand current state, define the future state and contribute to define the implementation approach to achieve the project goals.
• Manage project economics, delivery and programme interdependencies, manage stakeholder expectations, engagements and relationships, facilitating, tracking and monitoring of issues and resolution, manage change requests.
• While supporting the team in designing future state of processes and procedures ensure, monitor and report compliance with regulatory requirements, standards, policies and maintaining integrity in operations.
• Manage and perform data management activities including cleaning, standardising, governing and migrating to new system.
• Achieve performance metrics, KPIs and objectives to ensure effectiveness and success of initiatives.
• Manage training and change management activities for the assigned finance business process/processes ensuring smooth transition to new ways of working.
• Support the design and development of automated consolidated financial reporting from single source of truth along with appropriate insights.
• Collaborate with all ERP and Non-ERP functional teams in process design, process improvement, process management in compliance with Product standard functionalities and industry Best Practices.
• Prepare and present progress updates to Steering Committees and Executive Committees with excellent stakeholder management skills.

About you:

• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional process improvement projects
