Dallah Holding Media in Doha is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our production team. You will operate large and small-format digital printers, CNC routers, plotters, laser cutters, and finishing equipment to deliver high-quality branding, events, signage, and fabrication projects.
You will prepare substrates, inks, and materials, manage print-ready files, perform color checks, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with designers and project managers to meet tight deadlines.
We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join our production team on an urgent basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating digital printing and fabrication machinery, preparing print-ready files, performing finishing works, maintaining equipment, and ensuring high-quality production for branding, events, exhibitions, signage, and fabrication projects.
Operate large and small-format digital printers, including UV, solvent, eco-solvent, and latex printers.
Operate CNC routers, plotters, laser cutters, laminators, and other finishing equipment.
Prepare substrates, inks, and materials according to job requirements.
Perform test prints and make adjustments for alignment, sizing, and colour accuracy.
Carry out cutting, trimming, laminating, mounting, routing, and assembly works.
Handle materials such as vinyl, acrylic, MDF, foam board, aluminum, PVC, fabric, and paper.
Prepare and modify artwork using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
Prepare and verify print-ready files including AI, PDF, PSD, and EPS formats.
Operate RIP software and manage production queues.
Perform basic colour calibration, profiling, and quality checks.
Troubleshoot minor machine, mechanical, and software-related issues.
Carry out routine machine cleaning, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
Follow all HSE and production quality requirements.
Coordinate with designers, production teams, and project managers to ensure accurate job execution.
Maintain production records and monitor material and consumable usage.
Support urgent projects, exhibitions, installations, and high-demand production periods.
Technical Diploma or certification in Printing Technology, Graphic Arts, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Digital Print Operator, CNC Operator, Fabrication Technician, or similar role.
Strong practical knowledge of digital printing and fabrication machinery.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; basic InDesign knowledge is preferred.
Experience with RIP software and print production workflows.
Knowledge of colour management and print quality control.
Ability to read artworks, layouts, technical drawings, and job instructions.
Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Experience in signage, advertising, events, exhibitions, or fabrication is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Physically capable of handling production materials and working extended hours when required.
Good teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
