Qualifications

• Reviews and revises manning based on the level of business.
• Controls and compiles associate rotas to match hotel occupancy.
• Ensures brand standards and quality/service procedures are followed.
• Directs annual training plans and on-the-job training in liaison with the Assistant Director of Rooms.
• Maintains a positive, high-performing working environment for housekeeping.
• Oversees housekeeping operations on guest floors, public areas and back-of-house.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day housekeeping on guest floors, public areas and back of house.
• Rotate duties with Public Area supervisor to cover all areas.
• Review guest requests and ensure timely setup.
• Address guest concerns and resolve them to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist the Assistant Director of Rooms in running the department and deputize as needed.
• Ensure payroll, reports and attendance are submitted on time.
• Monitor preventive maintenance and general cleaning standards.
• Inspect VIP rooms and maintain equipment and supplies.
