Job summary

Dishley Holding seeks a Lighting Designer with strong procurement expertise to bridge technical design and commercial sourcing. You will select luminaires from leading international brands, ensure they meet project specs, and secure them at competitive prices.

Core duties include sourcing products, evaluating quotations, negotiating pricing, and reviewing technical datasheets for compliance. You will coordinate with project teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architecture is required.
• Solid knowledge of leading international architectural and decorative lighting brands is essential.
• Strong understanding of lighting calculations and illumination requirements is required.
• Ability to interpret lighting specifications, datasheets and submittals is essential.

What You'll Do

• Source architectural and decorative lighting products from international manufacturers and suppliers
• Obtain and evaluate quotations, prepare technical and commercial comparison sheets, and negotiate competitive pricing
• Review lighting specifications, technical datasheets, and material submittals for compliance with project requirements
• Recommend luminaires that balance technical performance, quality, aesthetics, and cost
• Perform lighting calculations and assess illumination levels against applicable lighting standards
• Collaborate with project, engineering, and estimation teams to ensure technical compliance and on-time procurement
• Track purchase orders, material availability, and delivery schedules through to completion

What You Bring

Must-have

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architecture
• Solid knowledge of leading international architectural and decorative lighting brands, manufacturers, and product ranges
• Strong technical understanding of lighting calculations, illumination requirements, lighting control systems, and lighting standards
