Job summary

Gulf Drilling International is seeking a Lift Boat Captain/Master for offshore Qatar operations. The role requires Master Unlimited, DP2 certification, and extensive DP/Jack-Up experience on Lift Boats. You will lead safety-conscious crews and ensure vessel performance.

Applicants should hold a Master Unlimited COP, DP Operator certs, and STCW compliance including BOSIET/FOET with HUET, medical fitness, BRM and SSO. Doha offshore deployment is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in rank as Master.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in rank on DP2 Jack-Up Barges / Lift Boats.
• Suitable DP2 Lift Boat / Jack-Up Barge experience.
• A recognised Maritime Academy/University degree and multiple STCW certs are required.

Minimum Experience

• Valid national Certificate of Competency with applicable Flag State endorsement/recognition.
• Valid Full Unlimited DP Operator Certificate issued by the Nautical Institute.

• Valid Seafarer Medical Fitness Certificate (STCW I/9).
• Valid Basic Safety Training (STCW A-VI/1).
