Job summary

KinTec Global is seeking experienced telecom engineers for critical industrial telecom systems in Doha, Qatar. Roles cover design, planning, implementation, operation, and maintenance of mission-critical networks across offshore and onshore assets.

Candidates should bring 5–10 years in telecommunications, with strong industrial sector exposure, vendor management, and lifecycle expertise to support large-scale energy projects in the Middle East.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum 5–10 years of telecommunications engineering experience.
• Minimum 8 years in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, or Heavy Industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support industrial telecom systems for Oil & Gas facilities.
• Prepare telecom engineering designs, specifications, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Support the implementation and commissioning of telecom infrastructure projects.
• Manage telecom system upgrades, expansions, and modernization initiatives.
• Review contractor deliverables and ensure compliance with technical standards.
• Perform technical evaluations and support vendor selection processes.
• Ensure telecom systems meet operational, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Support project execution activities from concept through commissioning and handover.
• Troubleshoot telecom infrastructure issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, project, and engineering teams.
• Conduct technical reviews, site surveys, and system performance assessments.
• Ensure telecom solutions align with business continuity and operational reliability objectives.
