Job summary

Arab Solutions is seeking a Lead Senior SharePoint Developer to drive migration from SharePoint 2019 on-prem to SharePoint Online and implement a headless SharePoint architecture with SPFx Web Parts. The role demands 6+ years of hands-on experience across both environments and strong React/TypeScript skills.

You will architect cloud-backed data flows, build in-webpart management features, and secure integrations with ERP and K2 systems. A proven migration track record is essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of core, hands-on experience in SharePoint 2019 (on-premises) and modern SharePoint Online (SPO) / SPFx (v1.16+) development.
• Proven track record of leading and executing complex SharePoint migration projects from on-premises to SharePoint Online.
• Expert-level experience rebuilding legacy SharePoint Workflows in Power Automate, utilizing cloud flows, automated/scheduled triggers, custom connectors, and approval loops.
• Proven experience fetching and consuming data from external REST APIs, JSON services, or direct SQL databases to display inside SPFx web parts.
• Strong understanding of API security, including token authentication (Bearer/OAuth 2.0), API Key management, and secure web service integrations.
• Expert-level proficiency in React, TypeScript, and React Hooks.
• In-depth expertise in PnP JS (@pnp/sp) and PnP SPFx React Controls (FilePickers, PeoplePickers, RichText editors) within SharePoint Online.
• Proven experience debugging custom code inside native mobile WebView containers (SharePoint Mobile App).

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead for migrating the legacy SharePoint 2019 environment to SharePoint Online.
• Plan structure and execute the migration of historical intranet content including news archives, corporate stories, documents, lists, web applications, site collections and permissions.
• Ensure all legacy data maps correctly to the new modern designs.
• Audit the existing SharePoint 2019 environment to assess data structures, page layouts, workflows and permissions.
• Define and implement the optimal modern site structure, site collections and metadata taxonomy in SharePoint Online.
• Read-Only System Integration ERP & K2; establish secure read-only connections to ERP suites and K2 environments.
• Fetch data via REST APIs/JSON endpoints or secure database views to display live operational data inside SPFx components.
• Ensure all data-fetching integrations are secure and compliant with security standards.
• Analyze legacy workflows and re-engineer them into Power Automate cloud flows.
• Wrap modular React components into production-ready SPFx Web Parts deployed to the SharePoint Online App Catalog.
• Design SharePoint Online list schemas and document libraries; write data-fetching classes using PnP JS and Graph APIs.
• Build in-WebPart content editing CRUD with slide-out Fluent UI panels for authorized users.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Lead Senior SharePoint Developer with 6 years of professional experience across both SharePoint 2019 on-premises and SharePoint Online SPO to drive the technical architecture backend integration migration and deployment of our customized Connect 22 intranet portal I n this role you must bring a proven track record of successfully executing end-to-end intranet migration projects from legacy environments to modern SharePoint Online Using SharePoint Online as a headless CMS you will analyze our current environment to design the optimal cloud backend structure SPO Lists Libraries and Sites to support our custom React layouts You will be responsible for wrapping custom React UI components into deployable SPFx Web Parts v1 19 and establishing secure read-only integrations with our active enterprise core platforms such as ERP and K2 systems Additionally you will build an in-webpart content management system CRUD using sliding Fluent UI panels execute the end-to-end migration of legacy content such as news corporate stories documents and lists and modernize legacy SharePoint workflows into modern cloud-native Power Automate flows
