Job summary

Parsons in Qatar seeks a Risk Manager to lead risk and opportunity management for major roads, infrastructure and drainage works. You will establish systems, run workshops and coordinate risk registers across time, cost, quality and safety, ensuring updates in the Authority's systems and strong reporting.

The role requires over 20 years of post-graduate experience, with at least 10 years in similar programmes, and fluent English for stakeholders and governance reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 20+ years post-graduate experience, with at least 10 years in programme risk management.
• Experience in the Middle East required.
• Experience with major roads, infrastructure and drainage projects.
• Professional risk-management qualification preferred.
• Excellent English communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the consultant-side risk and opportunity management across two work packages.
• Establish and continually improve project-wide risk systems and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain the Risk and Opportunity Management Plan.
• Develop and coordinate risk registers covering time, cost, quality, safety, env.
• Ensure risk registers are updated in Active Risk Manager per reporting cycles.
• Facilitate risk workshops with client, supervision team, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate risk owners, causes, controls, actions and residual risk ratings.
• Provide risk input to forecasts, recovery strategies and mitigation planning.
• Prepare risk dashboards and management briefings for reporting.
• Support project reviews, Gateway submissions and close-out.
