Job summary

Almuftah Group is seeking a QAQC Engineer to establish and maintain quality systems across carpentry, joinery and fit-out manufacturing. You will ensure products and workmanship meet approved drawings, specifications and client requirements while coordinating QA/QC activities across factory and site teams.

The role requires 7–10 years of QAQC experience in similar industries, strong ISO 9001 knowledge, and excellence in documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Wood Technology, Industrial Engineering.
• 7–10 years of QAQC experience in carpentry, joinery or fit-out manufacturing.
• Experience in factory and site QC for bespoke joinery and interior fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality auditing principles.
• Excellent documentation and report-writing skills.
• Ability to read shop drawings, details, specifications and BOQs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA management systems (QMS) per ISO 9001:2015 or company standards.
• Prepare and update QA plans, ITPs for joinery and fit-out works.
• Conduct incoming material inspections and ensure compliance with approved submittals.
• Coordinate internal audits and assist during external audits by clients or cert bodies.
• Review project drawings, BOQs, and client requirements to identify quality risks.
• Maintain records, generate quality reports and dashboards for management.
