Job summary

AL MUFTAH TRADING is seeking an Engineer QA QC to establish, implement, and maintain quality systems across carpentry, joinery, and fit-out manufacturing. The role ensures all products and processes meet drawings, specifications, client requirements, and company standards.

Key responsibilities include developing QMS, conducting audits, coordinating inspections, and maintaining documentation. The candidate will drive CAPA actions and support FAT/site inspections where needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or diploma in civil engineering, wood technology, industrial engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years of QAQC experience in carpentry, joinery, or fit-out manufacturing.
• Factory and site QC experience for bespoke joinery and interior fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry, joinery materials, finishes, and fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, details, specifications, and BOQs.
• Not more than 45 years old.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain QMS in line with ISO 9001:2015 or company standards.
• Coordinate internal audits and assist during external audits by clients or cert bodies.
• Conduct inspections at material procurement, fabrication, finishing, packing and delivery stages.
• Monitor quality performance via KPIs and quality reports; prepare NCRs when needed.
• Ensure compliance with standards and drive continuous improvement across production and site teams.
• Prepare quality dossiers, handover documents, warranties when required.
