Job summary

Galfar Al Misnad Engineering and Contracting W.L.L. is seeking a Design / Engineering – Manager to oversee all design and engineering activities for flowline construction.

You will coordinate with the engineering contractor, client, project manager, QHSE, planning, materials, and other stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery within budget and to project specs. The role requires 10+ years in pipeline/flowline design in Oil & Gas, GCC experience, and strong knowledge of ASME/API/ISO codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years in design/construction of pipelines and flowlines in Oil & Gas.
• Must have oil & gas industry experience, GCC experience (6–8 years).
• Deep understanding of pipeline design, flowline systems, and relevant codes (ASME/API/ISO).
• Proficient with AutoCAD, PDS, PDMS, Caesar II or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of design engineers in pipeline/flowline design packages for onshore projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• Oversee design of pipeline/flowline systems including hydraulics, material selection, routing, and integrity.
• Ensure designs comply with regulations and quality standards, with documentation delivered on time.
• Engage with clients to align design with project expectations and concerns.
