Job summary

Employment is seeking a Principal Operations Engineer to lead field engineering teams and ensure safe, high-quality installation projects in line with client requirements and regulatory standards.

You will mentor engineers, drive best practices, manage multiple priorities under tight schedules, and collaborate with procurement, construction, and clients as the project’s primary technical contact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; a master's degree is preferred.
• 10 to 14 years of experience in the oil and gas industry with major Contractors or consultants.
• Proven experience in the EPCI industry, with a focus on engineering functions.
• Experience in offshore projects highly valued.
• Strong knowledge of engineering tools, software and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of field engineers to ensure timely installation projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship while ensuring compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with procurement, construction and installation phases.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality control.
• Develop innovative engineering solutions aligned with client requirements and regulatory standards.
• Oversee design and optimization of engineering systems for feasibility, efficiency and safety.
• Perform thorough technical reviews and mitigate project risks.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients as the primary technical contact.
