Job summary

Qatar Airways is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (B1) in Doha to deliver maintenance activities supporting flight operations. You will apply specialized knowledge to ensure safe, efficient aircraft maintenance in line with QR procedures.

Responsibilities include planning, supervising, and releasing work to meet standards while coordinating with internal and external customers. Applicants should hold the required ICAO/QCAA license(s) and a relevant engineering qualification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in aircraft engineering or Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance
• Minimum 1 full QR main fleet ICAO/QCAA license and approvals.
• Managerial skills: delegate, set direction, manage workflow; mentor and coach.

Responsibilities

• Plan activities and use tooling per Qatar Airways and customer procedures.
• Release work to meet standards and dispatch reliability targets.
• Supervise mechanics and technicians, ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Provide guidance and training to team members and align objectives with business goals.
• Maintain adherence to technical and safety publications and customer procedures.
