Job summary

Avanta Works in Al-Rayyan is seeking an experienced Head Baker to lead our baking team. You will oversee all bakery operations including creating and testing recipes, managing inventory and supplies, and ensuring high quality products are consistently delivered to customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong baking background, knowledge of a range of techniques and ingredients, and exceptional leadership skills with the ability to work well under pressure.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a baker or head baker in a fast-paced environment.
• In-depth knowledge of various baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
• Ability to create new recipes from scratch and modify existing ones.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Create new recipes for baked goods and modify existing recipes as needed.
• Plan production schedules to ensure adequate supply of products.
• Manage inventory and place orders for ingredients and supplies.
• Train new employees on baking techniques, food safety procedures, and equipment operation.
• Supervise baking team members and provide guidance and feedback.
• Ensure products meet high quality standards and are presented attractively.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
• Troubleshoot issues during the baking process and adhere to health and safety regulations.
