Job summary

Qatar Airways Group seeks a highly skilled licensed engineer to oversee serviceability and airworthiness of the Qatar Executive aircraft. The role ensures timely maintenance and adherence to QCAA and Qatar Airways standards, optimizing safety and cost efficiency.

Key duties include supervising resources, releasing work to service, coordinating with OEMs and vendors, and guiding the technical team to maintain high safety and reliability of the QE fleet.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with 6 years of job related experience.
• Licensed engineer with Gulfstream type rating/authorization.
• Recognized diploma in aircraft trade.
• In depth knowledge of aircraft maintenance fundamentals.
• Holder of ICAO mechanical or avionics license (preferably EASA).
• Previous supervisory experience in line/base maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage resources to ensure optimal maintenance coverage.
• Authorize and release work to service following QE and regulatory standards.
• Assess work procedures and equipment for improvements.
• Coordinate with OEMs, vendors and QE departments to resolve defects.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Recognized diploma in aircraft trade

Licensed engineer with Gulfstream 650ER/700 type rating

In depth knowledge of aircraft maintenance fundamentals

Knowledge of air legislation

ICAO mechanical or avionics license (preferably EASA)

Aircraft type rating for QE operations

Experience in supervisory line and base maintenance
