Job summary

Boeing in Al Udeid, Qatar seeks skilled aircraft maintenance technicians with 1+ year experience in Airframe, Powerplant, or General Mechanics to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on tactical aircraft. Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year experience in Airframe, Powerplant and/or General Mechanics.
Willing to work variable shifts including weekends and overtime.
Candidates must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on country requirements.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on tactical aircraft.
Inspect, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fuels systems including engines, airframes, flight controls, landing gear and weapons systems.
Adhere to technical manuals, maintenance procedures and safety regulations to ensure highest standards of maintenance and readiness.
Remove, install and align aircraft components and systems such as engines, landing gear, hydraulic systems, fuel systems and weapons systems.
Test repaired or replaced components to ensure proper functioning.
Document maintenance actions, equipment status and component life cycles accurately.
Collaborate with other maintenance disciplines to ensure aircraft are ready for flight operations.
