Job summary

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in land surveying or related field.
- At least 3 years of land surveying experience.
- Proficiency with surveying instruments (Total Station) and GIS software (ArcGIS).
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze data from surveys such as aerial photographs, maps and field notes.
- Compute the precise positions of points, lines, areas and elevations by using surveying equipment.
- Determine relative positions of points according to distances and directions from known points.
- Record survey measurements in field notes or digital files.
- Analyze survey data to determine precise locations of boundaries or features.
- Monitor changes in land elevations due to erosion or other factors.
- Produce maps showing features such as roads, boundaries or contours based on survey data.
