Banyan Tree Doha is seeking a Kitchen & Laundry Technician responsible for maintaining and servicing all kitchen and laundry equipment to the highest standards. Your role supports culinary and housekeeping operations to ensure guest experiences meet luxury expectations.

You will inspect, repair, and preventive maintain ovens, stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers, and related systems, coordinate with vendors, ensure health and safety compliance, document service history, and assist in

• Experience maintaining commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, stoves, grills).
• Experience servicing laundry gear (washers, dryers, steamers).
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance per schedule.
• Respond to urgent repair requests to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose faults in electrical and mechanical systems.
• Coordinate with vendors for complex repairs and parts.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations.
• Maintain service records and audit trails.

Your role is critical to ensuring seamless operations across our culinary and housekeeping departments, directly supporting our commitment to exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Inspect, maintain, and repair kitchen equipment including ovens, stoves, grills, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, and exhaust systems to premium operational standards
• Maintain and service laundry equipment including washers, dryers, steamers, and ironers to ensure consistent quality and efficiency
• Perform preventive maintenance according to established schedules to minimize equipment downtime and ensure uninterrupted service delivery
• Respond promptly to urgent repair requests from kitchen and housekeeping departments to maintain guest satisfaction
• Diagnose faults in electrical and mechanical systems and execute necessary repairs or recommend equipment replacements
• Coordinate with specialized vendors for complex repairs and parts procurement to maintain equipment integrity
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations related to all electrical and gas-powered appliances
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all maintenance activities and equipment service history for audit and compliance purposes
