Job summary

BANYAN TREE is seeking a Kitchen & Laundry Technician to maintain and service our kitchen and laundry equipment to high standards. You will inspect, repair and service ovens, stoves, grills, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, exhaust systems, washers, dryers, steamers and ironers to ensure reliable operations supporting guest experiences.

You will perform preventive maintenance per established schedules, respond quickly to urgent repair requests from kitchen and housekeeping, diagnose faults

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting, maintaining and repairing kitchen equipment (ovens, stoves, grills, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, exhaust systems).
• Experience maintaining and servicing laundry equipment (washers, dryers, steamers, ironers).
• Ability to diagnose faults in electrical and mechanical systems and perform repairs or recommend replacements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and repair kitchen equipment to premium standards.
• Maintain and service laundry equipment to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Perform preventive maintenance per schedule to minimize downtime.
• Respond to urgent repair requests from kitchen and housekeeping to maintain guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with vendors for complex repairs and parts.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and fire regulations for electrical and gas-powered appliances.
• Keep comprehensive documentation of maintenance activities and service history.
• Assist in installation and setup of new equipment when required.
