Job summary

Avanta Works in Lusail, Qatar is seeking a motivated Junior Surveyor to support field surveys, data collection, and the creation of accurate maps and plans for diverse projects. This is an entry-level position with on-the-job training and clear growth opportunities.

You will assist senior surveyors using GPS, total stations, levels, and other surveying tools; you will collect measurements, document land features and boundaries, and produce CAD-based maps for construction teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in surveying preferred.
• Strong math skills and ability to measure distances and angles accurately.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior surveyors in field surveys using GPS, total stations, and other tools.
• Collect and record data on land features, boundaries, and structures.
• Create maps and plans using CAD software.
• Conduct research to determine property boundaries and ownership.
• Provide accurate measurements and calculations for construction projects.
• Ensure surveying equipment is maintained and calibrated.
• Coordinate with team members to plan project tasks.
