Job summary

Avanta Works in Lusail, Qatar is seeking a motivated Junior Surveyor to support field surveys, data collection, and the creation of accurate maps and plans for diverse projects. This is an entry-level position with on-the-job training and clear growth opportunities.

You will assist senior surveyors using GPS, total stations, levels, and other surveying tools; you will collect measurements, document land features and boundaries, and produce CAD-based maps for construction teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in surveying preferred.
• Strong math skills and ability to measure distances and angles accurately.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Junior Surveyor

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Surveyor to join our team in Lusail. As a Junior Surveyor, you will assist in conducting land surveys, collecting data, and creating maps and plans for various projects. This is an entry-level position that offers on-the-job training and opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior surveyors in conducting field surveys using GPS equipment, total stations, and other tools
• Collect and record data on land features, boundaries, and structures
• Create maps and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Conduct research to determine property boundaries and ownership
• Provide accurate measurements and calculations for construction projects
• Ensure all surveying equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
• Communicate with team members to coordinate project tasks

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in surveying or related field preferred
• Strong math skills and ability to accurately measure distances and angles
• Familiarity with surveying equipment such as GPS receivers, levels, theodolites, etc.
• Proficiency in CAD software for map creation
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Must be fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus

Salary: 1000$ per month
